Saga University offers subjects of study in special fields and in general education. Most of the subjects in special fields are taught by members of the respective faculties, whereas subjects in general education are taught by the Organization for General Education (including some exceptions taught by each faculty). In the subjects of study in special fields, some are available to students regardless of faculty and are taught by the Organization for General Education. That organization is also in charge of the subjects for international students. Its role is to provide educational courses, including general education subjects, that are available to students in any faculty.
